LHI Delivers Perovskite Solar Production Line, Accelerating Innovation in Renewable Energy Technologies
On June 20, 2025, Lead Hydrogen Intelligent (LHI) announced the successful delivery of a full perovskite solar cell production line to a leading photovoltaic manufacturer in Shanghai, marking a significant breakthrough for the company in high-end PV equipment.

As one of Lead Intelligent Equipment(LEAD)’s core platforms dedicated to perovskite technologies, LHI’s delivery not only strengthens the customer’s capacity to build an advanced process R&D system but also injects strong momentum into the industrialization of perovskite solar cells through end-to-end technology innovation.
01
Whole line integration Dual technology routes advance industrial-scale exploration
The delivered production line integrates all core processes—including wafer cleaning, laser scribing, coating, PVD (physical vapor deposition), ALD (atomic layer deposition), evaporation, annealing, vacuum crystallization, and packaging—covering the entire process flow from cell manufacturing to module assembly. The line supports both dry and wet process routes, enabling the customer to conduct early-stage laboratory exploration while ensuring seamless transition to mass production. This flexible architecture supports rapid technology iteration and scalable capacity ramp-up.
Importantly, the key equipment of the production line—such as PVD machine, ALD machine, evaporation machine, laser scribing machine, and the coating machine—were all independently developed by LEAD. This ensures autonomy and control over core technologies, significantly improves delivery efficiency, and helps customers secure a first-mover advantage.
02
Building core competitiveness for perovskite equipment through deep industry expertise
Leveraging LEAD’s extensive experience in photovoltaics, lithium batteries, consumer electronics, and smart vehicles, LHI continues to break through key perovskite technology bottlenecks and accelerate commercialization. LHI now has the capability to supply large-area coating systems supporting near-GW-scale mass production, covering mass production lines, pilot lines, and laboratory requirements. With more than two decades of non-standard equipment engineering experience, LHI provides full-process structural optimization and software customization to enhance customer competitiveness.
An LHI representative noted: “The large-scale deployment of perovskite technology depends heavily on continuous advances in manufacturing equipment. This delivery marks a new starting point for us. With the support of our global resource network, we will continue driving perovskite equipment toward higher efficiency, lower cost, and greater intelligence — contributing to the global energy transition.”
This delivery marks an important milestone for LHI in perovskite equipment. As perovskite technologies further integrate with the mainstream photovoltaic industry, LHI will leverage equipment innovation to help catalyze the next wave of breakthroughs in renewable energy.
