Hydrogen Equipment for a Greener Future | LHI Unveils Smart Manufacturing Solutions at 2025 HEIE

From March 26 to 28, the 2025 Beijing International Hydrogen Technology & Equipment Exhibition (HEIE) opened in Beijing, bringing together leading global hydrogen-technology developers, upstream and downstream partners, and industry experts under the theme “Innovate for Green, Succeed Together.” As a front-runner in hydrogen-equipment manufacturing, LHI showcased a suite of new innovations, presenting end-to-end intelligent solutions spanning electrolyzer production to testing equipment. The company joined industry peers to explore pathways for technological advancement and industrial upgrading, contributing fresh momentum to the “dual-carbon” goals.

At this year’s exhibition, LHI introduced its large-format alkaline electrolyzer (ALK) production lines, test systems and integrated solutions, built around the principles of high efficiency, intelligence and reliability. Leveraging its one-stop smart manufacturing capabilities, LHI became one of the focal points of the exhibition.

LHI’s automated production solutions for both square and cylindrical ALK electrolyzers address long-standing industry bottlenecks including high labor intensity, low automation and limited traceability on traditional lines. The production line covers raw-material inspection and handling, electrode assembly manufacturing and testing, small-cell fabrication, and full electrolyzer assembly and inspection. Automated material flow and a customized MES system enable full-process traceability and support rapid process optimization.

During the concurrent “Green Hydrogen and Hydrogen-Power Synergy Forum,” Dr. Liang Cong, Vice General Manager of LHI, delivered a keynote titled “Comprehensive Solutions for Large-Format ALK Electrolyzer Production Lines and Test Equipment.” Dr. Liang analyzed the key challenges facing large-format ALK manufacturing and testing and presented LHI’s technological pathway. He noted that LHI’s new large-format ALK solutions not only advance the intelligence of full-line equipment but also help customers enhance efficiency, reduce cost and move toward zero-defect smart factories.

LHI also unveiled a broader range of smart-equipment solutions, including PEM/AEM electrolyzer production lines, PEMFC/SOFC production lines, IDC fuel-cell and electrolyzer test benches, and flow-battery production lines—further demonstrating its leadership in both electrolyzer manufacturing and testing technology.
